Dr. Michael Carter, Corporate Medical Director and Head of Telemedicine - RealHealth Clinics
"The right approach for Alzheimer's is that which is right for that particular patient. Alzheimer's is multifactorial and "sporatic" meaning that each patient has their own set of issues that contribute to the disease. Therefore the right approach requires a proper blending of contemporary, traditional, integrative, and functional considerations. At the center must be objectivity - and we provide this objectivity through our science-based RealHealth Living Profile, and the Alzheimer's-specific biomaker panels. These important tools are the cornerstone of our process. Both our patients and our doctors measure our success based on how our patient improves AND on physiological changes that we measure with great accuracy. We are an Outcome-Driven Practice."

Dr. Carter is a Board Certified Physician with 26 years’ experience as an anesthesiologist, Anti-Aging doctor, Cosmetic surgeon, and Functional and Integrative medicine practitioner licensed in multiple states. Dr. Carter has primary practice in Georgia as well as serving as medical director of other facilities. Dr. Carter also offers concierge level coaching and care to patients domestically and internationally via telemedicine virtual consultation sessions. Dr. Carter seeks to find the Root cause of what is interfering with the body’s ability to stave off disease syndromes and he provides the combination of natural supplements, effective diet and eating strategies as well as effective exercise regimens that enhance the ability of his patients to detoxify, rejuvenate and regenerate for optimal health. Dr. Carter has recently joined Real Health Clinics where the thrust is identifying pathogens that have a deleterious role in neurodegerative diseases as well as multi organ imbalances due to heavy metals, toxins, gastro intestinal dysfunction, adrenal and sex hormone dysfunction, psychological barriers and other interferences that are blocking the healing process. Dr. Carter as medical director provides his medical experience and guidance that compliments the existing professional staff. Together, the team brings a whole new dimension to serving the needs of those who seek enhanced performance, more energy, clarity of thought, vitality and optimal health and, most important - Solutions for Alzheimer's Sufferers.

"There is only one science of Life" - Claude Bernard

Dr. Linda King, Clinical Director - RealHealth Clinics - Lake Mary, FL

"Alzheimer’s disease is a multifactorial disease. What that means to you as our patient and us as medical practitioners, is that a pill from the pharmaceutical industry will never cure, or even slow, Alzheimer's. To conquer this dreaded disease, my patients and my collegues must work together to help make each patient better or resistant to Alzheimer's. It is a multifactorial disease and we take on a multifactorial approach.  It is a complex disease that demands my best efforts on the behalf of each of my patients. For most of our patients, a differential diagnosis reveal a cascade of causes, many of which have treatments. When we target those issues that are treatable, our patients stabilize and often improve. This type of result is not happening within the standard delivery of medicine today."

Dr. Linda King is the first certified BioTe practitioner in central Florida. She is a graduate of the University of Mississippi School of Pharmacy and received her Medical degree from Kansas City University of Medicine and Bioscience. She has been a physician in Central Florida for the past 34 years. 20 years as an Emergency Room Physician and the last 14 years in the practice of Alternative/Functional medicine. Dr. King believes in getting to the root cause of illness and not just treating her patients with drugs to cover their symptoms.

Bioidentical hormones have always been a large part of her practice for both men and women. I realized early on in my alternative practice that many illnesses could be traced back to lack of hormones. I had seen the horrors of synthetic hormones for years and have NEVER used them in my practice. “When I saw the BioTE methods and their high pellet standards that outpaced many others in the industry, I knew it would be a perfect fit for my practice, and I was right.” Dr King is a national and international speaker and a regular contributor to Lake Mary Life Magazine in central Florida. Her office is Heathrow Anti-aging and Wellness in Lake Mary, Florida.

Dr. King has worked with Dr. Trempe and Lewis for 3 years on several patients who have experience remarkable improvement in the neurodegenerative conditions. She is well versed in all aspects of the Alzheimer's screening, diagnosis, and treatment protocol developed by Dr. Lewis and Trempe. She, along with Drs. Carter, Khan, and Trempe oversee patient care at the RealHealth location in Florida.

Dr. Thomas J. Lewis, CEO - RealHealth Clinics

"Today medicine focuses too much on "sick care" and not enough on "health care." The treatments we get from our doctors come from the 10 largest drug companies in the world who use research to determine the most profitable drugs to bring to market. These companies barely scratch the surface of available knowledge when they go through their selection process for drug development. At RealHealth Clinics, we have delved into the medical literature from across the globe and through time to bring our patients methods and treatments that far exceed the efficacy of those provided through the current medical delivery system called the "standard-of-care." More importantly, every thing we do to make our patients well is based on a fundamental understanding of the root-causes of diseases. Thus, your RealHealth doctors are treating causes - not just controlling and suppressing symptoms. To get well from Alzheimer's - your doctor MUST identify and treat causes.

Dr. Thomas J. Lewis is a Medical Scientist. He holds a Ph.D. in Chemistry from MIT and certification from the Harvard School of Public Health. He is an entrepreneur and healthcare professional with expertise in toxic substances, drug development, biotechnology, health technology, and medical protocol development. For the past 12 years he has worked closely with senior researchers and clinicians at Harvard Medical School and has developed a program for chronic disease root cause prevention, screening, diagnosis, and treatment. Alzheimer’s disease and the most serious eye diseases, macular degeneration and glaucoma have been a particular focus.

Dr. Lewis opened the first-of-its-kind Alzheimer’s prevention, screening, early detection, and treatment center in the Orlando, Florida area in 2014. He works closely with Dr. Clement Trempe, 41 years at Harvard Medical School who is one of few doctors in the world who treats chronic eye diseases as systemic inflammatory conditions – and reverses these conditions with great success. It was through this work that Dr. Trempe developed his protocol for diagnosing, treating, and reversing Alzheimer's disease that is now an integral part of the RealHealth Clinics offering.

Dr. Lewis has written two books:  “The End of Alzheimer’s – A Differential Diagnosis Toward a Cure,” and “Quarterback Your Own Health – How to Take and Lower Your Chronic Disease Temperature.” Both these books explain how RealHealth Clinics makes our patients well - even the most severely afflicted Alzheimer's sufferer.

He has also launched a program to help corporation who self-fund their healthcare reduce their healthcare costs, improve employee productivity and moral by creating health in populations. The main focus of this program is chronic disease prevention, root cause investigation and treatments. Chronic disease costs are 75% of healthcare spend but programs to reduce this are largely unavailable.

He has several patents and numerous publications. The most recent patent involves the identification and use of both physiological and pathological biomarkers that are able to accurately predict future morbidity (disease) and mortality. This risk is presented by way of a single risk value coined your “Chronic Disease Temperature™. He has also created a software-based medical intake form that is designed to determine the current and future risk of accelerated aging and chronic disease in individuals – called the RealHealth Living Profile™. These tools are currently being used in his clinics and in corporations to identify those at highest risk of illness and determine best practices to create, restore, or optimize health.

Dr. Clement L. Trempe, CMO - RealHealth Clinics

"We treat the whole patient. No disease happens in isolation, it’s all connected. There are well-studied ways to detect and treat Alzheimer’s disease. Eye doctors are best positioned to diagnose diseases of the brain. The eye is a window to the brain as well as a canary for the brain.”

Dr. Trempe received his MD degree from Ottawa Medical School, Canada. He furthered his studies at Harvard’s Schepens Eye Research Institute (SERI) and Massachusetts Eye and Ear Infirmary, Boston. He has been on staff at Harvard Medical School teaching hospitals since the 1970s. He is the author of hundreds of medical scientific papers and two pending patents.

Dr. Trempe didn’t set out to solve the Alzheimer’s conundrum; he did set out to treat eye diseases in a different way, however. He, and many others recognize that a sick eye does not reside in a healthy body. A sick eye is, for the most part, in a sick body. Treat the causes of the sick body and the health of the eye will also improve. Dr. Trempe is one of very few Ophthalmologists who take this approach. Why?  Because eye doctors treat eye diseases, cardiologists treat heart diseases, neurologist treat brain diseases, and so on. These specialties seldom collaborate. Each medical discipline has its own set of diagnostics and drugs for their special ailments.

When Dr. Trempe started diagnosing and treating his “eye” patients for systemic (whole body wide) diseases, back in the 1980s, their eyes did indeed get better. In fact they got much better and stayed much better compared to people who were treated as if their eyes existed in isolation from the rest of the body.

Most importantly, many patients with serious disease beyond the eye reported back to Dr. Trempe that these other conditions improved upon his “eye” (whole body) treatments. One of those conditions that improved was Alzheimer’s disease.

We now know that glaucoma, like Alzheimer’s, is a neurodegenerative disease. The eye is an extension of the brain and the death of retinal ganglion cells in the back of the eye leads to glaucoma. The same or similar process happens in the brain of Alzheimer’s patients whose neurons die. It makes sense that these diseases are connected because we have one circulatory system, one central nervous system, and one lymphatic system. All these systems are interconnected. It is almost physiologically impossible for a disease, especially a slowly incubating chronic disease, to live in complete isolation from the whole body.

RealHealth Clinics encourages those interested in the methods of Dr. Trempe and RealHealth Clinics to Investigate the connection between diseases, including Alzheimer’s, on their own. A simple scholar.google.com search on Alzheimer’s and glaucoma, as one example, will yield hundreds of medical research papers that show how they are connected. Our patients will also be provided with a copy of our book titled, “The End of Alzheimer’s? A Differential Diagnosis Toward a Cure,” By Drs. Tempe and Lewis. In this book we have combed the medical literature to validate and enhance our understanding of Alzheimer’s disease and chronic diseases in general.

Dr. Trempe, and our team know that Alzheimer’s can be treated and the disease can be slowed, stopped, or reversed in many.

Dr. Daniel Thomas, Director Eye and Brain Programs - Mt Dora, FL

The eye is a biomarker for diseases of the brain. In that respect, when we observe eye diseases such as glaucoma, cataract, macular degeneration, diabetic retinopathy or even dry eye - we know your health, particularly that of your brain is heading in the wrong direction. When we see eye diseases, it is time to take IMMEDIATE action to start improving your health to protect your brain. However, eye diseases are not just eye diseases - they are diseases of a sick eye in a sick body. It turns out that people with eye diseases experience much higher early mortality and "adverse events" including heart attack and stroke. Standard-of-care doctors do not understand these relationships but fortunately we do - and we have solutions to help you return to a state of better health - and your eye conditions are very likely to improve along the way.

Dr. Thomas earned a medical degree from Des Moines University and served a hospital internship at Northwest General Hospital in Milwaukee, Wisconsin. Because medical education only begins in medical school, he didn’t stop there. In addition to a medical degree, he earned a post-doctoral Master of Science degree in Metabolic and Nutritional Medicine from the University of South Florida College of Medicine. This advanced degree provided a deeper understanding of cellular biochemistry and human physiology than was taught in medical school.

The Master’s degree gave Dr. Thomas a greater understanding of the intimate connections between aging and disease, and metabolic dysfunction and faulty nutrition. It allowed him to provide even better care to his patients by giving him the knowledge on how to use the science of metabolic and nutritional medicine to prevent and reverse disease, and greatly enhance your chances of living to a ripe old age in good health. Out of the 900,000 physicians in the United States, less than 0.01% have this important and cutting-edge degree.

In addition to a Master’s degree, he has a post-doctoral Graduate Certificate in Metabolic Endocrinology and another in Brain Fitness & Memory Management—both from the University of South Florida College of Medicine. This was followed by a Fellowship in Integrative Cancer Therapies with the Metabolic Medical Institute. He also has a Bachelor of Science degree in Biochemistry from Andrews University as well as a Certificate in Plant-Based Nutrition from Cornell University.
